  15.        This manual page    documents the GNU version of n✓ni✓ic✓ce✓e.   Note
  16.        that  most shells have a    built-in command by the    same name
  17.        and with    similar    functionality.

  19.        If  no  arguments  are  given,  n✓ni✓ic✓ce✓e  prints  the  current
  20.        scheduling  priority, which it inherited.  Otherwise, n✓ni✓ic✓ce✓e
  21.        runs  the  given     _✓c_✓o_✓m_✓m_✓a_✓n_✓d  with    its  scheduling     priority
  22.        adjusted.   If no _✓a_✓d_✓j_✓u_✓s_✓t_✓m_✓e_✓n_✓t is given, the priority of the
  23.        command is incremented by 10.  The superuser can    specify    a
  24.        negative    adjustment.  The priority can be adjusted by n✓ni✓ic✓ce✓e
  25.        over the    range of -20 (the highest priority)  to     19  (the
  26.        lowest).
